Can I do a shorter Party?

An At Home Puppy Party is booked for 1.5 hrs, this is just pure puppy time. Set up and tear down is not included in that time, guests spend 1.5 hr’s playing and engaging with the rescue puppies. What if you would like a shorter amount of time at a discounted price - is that possible? No it isn’t and here are the reasons why:

#1. The puppies are transported to the party in the car, they are all car trained and will settle down to nap while we are en route. Once we arrive to the location and after the pen is set up the puppies are taken inside. It takes them some time to wake up, and become alert.

#2. It’s important that the experience isn’t rushed for the guests or the puppies, a rushed environment isn’t good for the puppies nervous systems. It’s important to remember that these are rescue puppies that have survived some terrible circumstances, a slow and easy approach is the only approach. 1.5 hrs gives everyone enough time to engage with the puppies and it gives the puppies enough time to settle in, play, rest, have a drink etc before we put them back in the car.

#3. Loading them into the car, driving them there, unloading them having them engage with guests then loading them back into the car after 45 mins is not ethical.

#4. When we first arrive to the party everyone is really excited and a bit overwhelmed, it takes guests some time to calm down enough to engage and connect with the puppies. Most times each person at the party has a favourite puppy they connect with and want to spend more time with. This gives everyone enough time to calm down, interact with each puppy an spend time with their favourite puppy.

#5. We are a rescue, the parties and classes at Pudgie’s Place are how we pay for rescue. rehabilitation, vaccination, surgery and nutrition for the puppies in our care. The parties are already at an excellent price point for the experience we deliver, cutting the time in order for the hosts to save money does not make sense to us as a rescue.
