How to Prepare for Your Puppy Party

So you booked a Puppy Party! the Pudgies are so excited to meet you.

If you've booked the party in advance please feel free to email us the week of the party to ask who will be coming. As you already know we are a rescue so we don't know exactly who will be coming in advance. Our goal always is to get the puppies healthy and find them a home. 

Here's how to prepare: 

* please ensure that all guest coming to the party like and are not frightened of dogs. Managing their anxiety affects the other guests at the party as well as the puppies. 

* we don't need a lot of space, please decide where you would like us to set up. Please do not set us up where there is a very expensive rug. We will come with matting to over rugs and carpets however an accident may happen.

* please arrange for the guests to arrive AFTER we have set up and allowed the puppies to have a pee after being in the car. We set up the pen, put down pee pads giving them an opportunity to have a pee pee. We clean up the pee pads and set down news ones so the pen is clean for guests. If guests are there when we arrive there is a lot of excitement making it challenging to set up smoothly. 

* we will bring garbage bags with us for all our garbage and take out garbage with us

* we will bring a water bowl and will ask you for water to fill it perhaps more than once

* we wil wait until most or all of the guest have arrived to have a conversation about proper puppy handling. We ask that the guests do not handle the puppies until we have the opportunity to show them how to do so safely.
